One half cup Butter
2 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 One half cup Sifted allpurpose flour
1 One half teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
One half teaspoon Nutmeg
One fourth teaspoon Allspice
1 One half cup Applesauce
One half cup Raisins
One half cup Pecans

Cream butter and sugar till light. Add eggs, beating well after each
addition. Sift dry ingredients togehter and add to creamed mixture
alternately with applesauce. Stir in raisins and pecans. Turn batter into
greased and lightly floured pan (13x9x2inch). Bake at 350F about 45
minutes or till done. Cool in pan.
NOTE: an additional 1/3 cup raisins can be substituted for the One half cup of
pecans, if desired.
