Recipe - Good Old-Fashioned Pancake Syrup

2 Boxes (1lb) dark brown
sugar
1 cup Granulated sugar
4 cup Water
Three fourths cup Dark Karo syrup
1 tablespoon Maple flavoring

Combine brown and granulated sugars, salt, water and corn syrup in a large
saucepan. Stir over medium high heat until sugar dissolves. Boil briskly
for 10 minutes or until syrup is fullbofied when poured from spoon.
Mixture should be about 7 cups. Cool to lukewarm. Stir in maple flavoring.
Funnel into sterilized bottles or other gift containers. Cover. Store in
refrigerator for up to 4 weeks. Makes 7 cups.
