Recipe - Golden Tomato Soup

1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon Ground turmeric
1 teaspoon Grated fresh ginger
5 Yellow tomatoes, peeled,
seeded and cut into 1/2
inch cubes
2 cup Chicken stock
Salt & white pepper to taste
1 Red tomato, peeled, seeded
and cut into thin strips
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic,
turmeric, and ginger. Cook, stirring frequently, for three minutes. Add the
yellow tomatoes and cook until soft. Add the chicken stock and salt and
pepper and cook for 10 minutes. Ladle the soup into warmed bowls and
garnish with the red tomato strips.
