Recipe - Golden Oven-Fried Chicken

One half cup Margarine or butter
1 Garlic clove, crushed
1 cup Dry bread crumbs
One fourth cup Grated Parmesan cheese
One fourth cup Finely chopped almonds
2 tablespoon Chopped parsley
1 teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Thyme
3 pound Frying chicken, cut up or
quartered
Heat oven to 400F. In a 13x9inch pan, melt margarine with garlic. In
medium bowl or shallow pan combine bread crumbs, cheese, almonds, parsley,
salt, thyme and pepper; mix well.
Dip chicken pieces in garlic butter; coat with crumb mixture. Place, skin
side up, in pan containing garlic butter.
Bake uncovered at 400F for about one hour or until tender, basting
occasionally with pan drippings.
