Recipe - Golden Halibut Casserole

1 pound Halibut
2 Bay leaves
4 sl Onion
4 teaspoon Butter
4 tablespoon Flour
2 cup Milk
Salt and pepper
One half pound Sharp cheddar cheese
Steam halibut, bay leaves and onion for 30 minutes. Prepare white sauce of
butter, flour, milk, salt and pepper. Grate cheese. Break fish into medium
sized pieces. Layer fish with cheese and white sauce. Cover with One half cup
buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Serves 8.
