Recipe - Goat Cheese And Pistachio Spread

2 pack (3 oz) goat cheese; softened
One fourth cup Chopped pistachios
1 lg Clove garlic; minced
One half teaspoon Salt
1 Stick; (One half cup) butter,
softened
One fourth cup Chopped fresh chives
Here's a spread I served on Thanksgiving as a predinner treat to keep the
crowd from getting restless smelling the turkey hour after hour....
In food processor, combine garlic and salt, let sit for 1015 minutes. Then
add the goat cheese, butter and chives. Blend until smooth. Stir in the
pistachios, garnish with more chives. Serve with crostini, crackers or a
cut or sliced up baguette. I also served carrot and celery sticks.
