Recipe - Glugg Holiday Punch

1 Bottle
1 Stick cinnamon
12 Allspice berries cracked
12 Whole cloves
12 Caramoms optional
Rind and juice of 1 orange
1 To 2 cups
Currants, figs, and
Dates)
1 cup Whole almonds
1 cup Akvavit or Vodka
Dry red wine
White wine
Dried fruit (raisins,
Combine wines in large enamel pot. Tie spices in cheeesecloth. Add Ornange
rind, orange juice, fruit and nuts. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat
immediately to simmer. Simmer for 1 hour. Pull out spice bag and orange
rind. Add Vodka or Akvavit. Serve warm, with portion of fruit in each cup.
Store leftover in jar in refrigerator for up to 3 months.
