HONEY PINEAPPLE GLAZE
One fourth cup Butter
One fourth cup Pineapple juice
One fourth cup Honey
One half teaspoon Nutmeg
HONEY LEMON GLAZE
One fourth cup Butter
One fourth cup Honey
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
ORANGE GINGER GLAZE
One fourth cup Butter
1/3 cup Frozen concentrate orange
juice or orange marmalade
One half teaspoon Ginger
CURRY PEACH GLAZE
One fourth cup Butter
One half cup Peach preserves
1 teaspoon Curry powder
SOY BUTTER GLAZE
2 tablespoon Butter
1/3 cup Soy sauce
One fourth cup Light corn syrup
One fourth teaspoon Garlic salt
Here are some simple glazes that can add pizazz and flavor to your birds.
Margarine can be substituted for butter in the recipes. Each recipe should
cover one turkey, a duck, or 4 Cornish hens.
HONEY PINEAPPLE GLAZE: Melt One fourth cup butter. Stir in One fourth cup pineapple
juice, One fourth cup honey and One half tsp nutmeg.
HONEY LEMON GLAZE: Melt One fourth cup butter. Stir in One fourth cup honey and 1 tbsp
lemon juice.
ORANGE GINGER GLAZE: Melt One fourth cup butter. Stir in 1/3 cup frozen
concentrate orange juice or orange marmalade and One half tsp ginger.
CURRY PEACH GLAZE: Melt One fourth cup butter. Stir in One half cup peach preserves and
1 tsp curry powder.
SOY BUTTER GLAZE: Melt 2 tbsp butter. Stir in 1/3 cup soy sauce, One fourth cup
light corn syrup and One fourth tsp garlic salt.
