Recipe - Ginger Pot Roast

1 pound Boneless beef pot roast (up
to 2)
2 tablespoon Oil
4 Cloves garlic; pressed
2 teaspoon Grated fresh ginger root
Salt; to taste
1 cup Water (up to 11/2)
3 tablespoon Soy sauce
Three fourths cup Raw rice
One fourth teaspoon Salt
Brown beef in oil then rub with mixture of garlic and ginger. Salt lightly.
Transfer to crock pot. Pour in water and soy sauce. Cover and cook on Low
for 78 hours or on High for 23 hours and then on Low for 2 hours more.
Remove 1 One half cups broth from pot. Place in saucepan with rice and salt.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cook until rice isil done, 1820 minutes. MC
