Recipe - German Style Pilsner

6 2/3 pound Ireks light/amber syrup
3 ounce Hallertauer hops boil
30 45 min
1 ounce Saaz hops finishing
1 pack Vierka lager yeast
4 ounce Priming sugar
Boild one gal of water, add syrup, stir until dissolved. Return to heat.
Add 3 ounce hallertauer hops and boild for 3045 min. In last 510 minutes of
boil, add the saaz hops. Add to 4 gal of cold water. When cooled to below
80 degrees, pitch yeast. Fermentation at 4555 degrees should go as
follows: 1014 days in primary fermenter, 23 weeks in secondary and 6
