Recipe - Georgia Peach Cream Pie

Three fourths cup Sugar
2 tablespoon Flour
3 tablespoon Cornstarch
One fourth teaspoon Salt
2 cup Milk
2 Well beaten egg yolks
1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
2 cup Sliced fresh peaches
1 9inch baked pie shell
Sweetened whipped cream
Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt. Add milk slowly and cook over
boiling water until mixture begins to thicken. Add wellbeaten egg yolks
and butter and cook until mixture thickens. Add lemon juice and cool.
Arrange 1 cup cut or sliced up peaches in pie shell. Pour in filling and top with
remaining peaches. Chill thoroughly and top with sweetened whipped cream.
