Recipe - Fruit Crisp

3 cup Apples, cooking; peeled,
cored, and cut or sliced up
3 cup Pears; peeled, cored, cut or sliced up
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
5 tablespoon Margarine, nondairy
1 cup Flour, pastry, whole wheat
2/3 cup Oats, rolled
One half cup Sugar, brown OR
One half cup Maple syrup granules
1 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
One fourth teaspoon Nutmeg, freshly ground
One half cup Walnuts; coarsely chopped
Place fruit in an 8 1/2inch round glass dish.
Sprinkle wiht lemon juice.
In a large bowl, cut butte into flour with a pastry cutter. Stir in
remaining ingredients. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples and pears.
Microwave, uncovered, on high for 11 to 13 minutes, or until fruit is
tender, rotating twice. Let stand until cool enough to serve. Serves 68.
