Recipe - Fruit Cake (An Old German Recipe)

1 pack Honeyspice or yellow cake
mix
1 cup Chopped dates
1 cup Currants
4 cup Candied fruit
1 One half cup Seedless raisins
One half cup Greed & red candied cherries
4 One half cup Whole pecan halves
1 pack Fluffy white frosting mix
Bake cake according to package directions. Cool & crumble in large bowl.
Add fruits & nuts; mix well. Prepare frosting according to package
directions. Mix with cake & fruit & lightly pack all ingredients into
foillined 10inch tube pan or in a 9x5x3inch loaf pan. Press down; cover
with foil & refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
