Recipe - Frosted Brownies

BROWNIES
1 cup Flour
2/3 cup Sugar
One fourth cup Cocoa powder
2 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 teaspoon Baking powder
One half teaspoon Baking soda
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
2 Egg whites; lightly beaten
One half cup Canned skim milk
One half cup Applesauce
1/3 cup Corn syrup
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
COCOA ICING
1 cup Icing sugar
1 tablespoon Cocoa powder
One half teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Milk; skim suggested
In medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, baking
powder, baking soda, salt until blended. In separate bowl stir together egg
whites, evaporated skim milk, apple sauce, corn syrup, and vanilla. Add dry
mixture to wet and stir until just blended.
Heat oven to 350F. Spray 8x8x2 baking pan with cooking spray. Bake 3035
minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
Remove from oven and cool. Prepare icing: In a medium bowl blend all
icing ingredients. Beat with wire whisk until smooth. Spread on brownies
and serve.
