Recipe - Fresh Tomato Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup Coarsely chopped onion
2 Cloves garlic; minced
2 tablespoon Butter or margarine; melted
5 small Tomatoes; peeled and chopped
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon Red wine vinegar
2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Chili powder
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
One half cup Dark corn syrup

Saute' onion and garlic in butter in a medium saucepan until tender. Stir
in tomatoes and next 5 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and
simmer sauce, uncovered, 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in corn
syrup, and simmer, uncovered, an additional 10 minutes. Use sauce for
basting, or serve with beef or ribs.
