Recipe - Fresh Peach Cobbler

5 cup Peeled and cut or sliced up peaches
1 cup Sugar
3 tablespoon All purpose flour
One fourth teaspoon Ground cinnamon
1 ds Salt
BATTER
1/3 cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/3 cup Water
1 teaspoon Vanilla
One half Orange extract
1 One half cup Flour
2 teaspoon Baking powder
One half teaspoon Salt
Stir together gently. Put in a 9x13 pan that has been greased with
margarine. Cover with batter.
Batter: Cream shortening and sugar. Mix in shortening, sugar, egg, water,
vanilla, & orange extract alternately with flour, baking powder, salt.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Good served with French Vanilla ice
cream.
