Recipe - French Toast With A Peel

Categories: None, French Toast With A Peel
Ingredients:

One half Very rip banana, peeled
2 tablespoon Nonfat milk
One half teaspoon Each vanilla and cinnamon
1 Egg
2 sl Wholewheat bread
2 tablespoon Sour cream

I'm posting Richard Simmons recipe for french toast exactly as he has it in
his "Deal A Meal Cookbook". I make changes to it, I leave out the sour
cream, use a whole ripe banana and I cook it on a nonstick griddle instead
of baking it.I also use eggwhites or egg substitute and use calorie reduced
maple flavoured syrup.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In blender, puree all ingredients, except bread.

3. Pour into shallow dish. Dip bread into mixture until evenly coated,
using all of mixture.

4. Arrange slices on nonstick baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes.

5. Serve, garnished with sour cream.

Makes 1 serving.

Provides: 2 bread, 1 protien, 1 fat, 1 fruit
