Recipe - French Quarter Sauce

1 cup Onion, grated
One fourth cup Salad oil
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
One half cup Water
One fourth cup Brown sugar
One fourth cup Lemon juice
3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon Prepared mustard
2 teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
Cook onion in hot oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients; simmer
uncovered 15 minutes. Makes enough sauce to baste 4 pounds loin back ribs
or spareribs.
