Recipe - French-Style Peas

3 Leaves Lettuce
1 tablespoon Butter
18 ounce Peas; Frozen
One half teaspoon Salt And Pepper
One fourth teaspoon Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
In large skillet with tightfitting lid melt 1 tbsp. butter Spread 2 or 3
lettuce leaves in skillet. Add 18 oz. peas. Dot with 3 Tbsp. butter
sprinkle with One half tsp. salt One fourth tsp. sugar and 1/8 tsp. pepper. Cook over
low heat 30 min. til tender.

NOTES : We used to live in Northern Canada where all the frozen vegetables
came aged like fine wine. This recipe could rescue the worst peas
so imagine what it can do for quality vegetables!
