Recipe - French-Style Bean Rounds

15 ounce Kidney Beans; Drained
4 tablespoon Flour
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
1/3 cup Water
1 Clove Garlic; Crushed
One fourth teaspoon Chili Powder
One fourth teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
Vegetable Oil; For Frying
Grated Cheddar Cheese;
Optional
Combine welldrained beans, flour, 1 tbsp oil, water, garlic, chili powder,
salt and pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Heat skillet;
brush with oil. Spoon One fourth cup batter at a time, spreading into a circle
about 4" in diameter. Cook over medium heat until brown on bottom and dry
on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese, if desired. Remove from griddle. Serve
warm.
