Recipe - Flaky Pie Crust (Amish Cooking)

2 cup Sifted whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Wheat germ
Three fourths cup Margarine
4 tablespoon Ice water (45 tablespoons)
Combine the flour with the salt in a medium sized bowl, then add the wheat
germ. With a pastry blender, cut in the margarine. Sprinkle the ice water
over the pastry and mix it with a fork. The pastry should be just moist
enough to hold together.
This dough handles like any other using white flour, but it's far more
nutritious.
