Ingredients:
Five Hours To Paint Stew recipe makes 8 Servings
1 pound Lean stew beef
1 cup Sliced carrots
1 cup Cubed potatoes
Three fourths cup Diced celery
Three fourths cup Sliced onion
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Au jus powder
1 cn (14 oz) chopped tomatoes
with juice.
Grease a 2 quart casserole well and layer in order given:
Bake covered @ 250o for 5 hours. Do not look at it. Go paint.
(I wonder if a tole painter invented the crock pot!)
