Recipe - Five-Flavor Pound Cake

2 Stick margarine
One fourth cup Shortening
3 cup Sugar
5 Egg
3 cup All purpose flour
1 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Rum
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Coconut
1 teaspoon Lemon flavoring
1 teaspoon Butter flavoring
GLAZE:
1 cup Sugar
One half cup Water
One half teaspoon Rum
One half teaspoon Vanilla
One half teaspoon Coconut
One half teaspoon Lemon flavoring
One half teaspoon Butter flavoring
Cream together margarine, shortening and sugar. Beat eggs and add to
creamed mixture. Mix flour and add baking powder. Alternately add milk and
flour mixture to creamed mixture. Stir in flavorings. Bake at 325 degrees
in a 10 inch tube or baking loaf pan for 1 One half hours. When cake is done,
cool, remove and glaze.
GLAZE Boil sugar and water until sugar dissolves. Add the flavorings.
