Recipe - Firemans Cookies

2 One fourth cup Brown sugar
2 One fourth cup Granulated sugar
1 pound Butter (4 sticks)
4 One half cup Flour
2 1/3 teaspoon Baking soda
1 tablespoon Vanilla
1 1/8 teaspoon Salt
4 One half cup Oats
1 pack (large) chocolate chips
1 cup Nuts (you choose)
5 Eggs

Cream eggs, sugars, butter and vanilla. Add dry ingredients except oats to
creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate chips and ;nuts. Usa an
ice cream scoop to place 4 on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree
oven until flattened and brown. Freeze the dough you don't use in a plastic
