Recipe - Filet Mignon With Pasilla Chile Bbq Sauce

4 Filet mignon steaks; (8
ounces each)
Salt and freshly ground
black pepper to taste
PASILLA CHILE BBQ SAUCE
1 One half cup New Mexicostyle BBQ Sauce
2 tablespoon Maple syrup
2 tablespoon Pasilla chile powder
One fourth cup Chopped cilantro
Mix all ingredients well and marinate filets for 1 hour. Prepare a wood or
charcoal grill and let burn down to embers. Remove filets from BBQ sauce
and cook on grill for 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
