Recipe - Fiji Chicken Casserole

3 pound Frying chicken; cut up
Butter or oil
1 cn Cream of mushroom soup
1 cn Cream of celery soup
1 One half teaspoon Curry powder
One half teaspoon Garlic powder (optional)
Preheat oven to 350. Wash chicken quicky under cold water. Dry well. Grease
(with oil or butter) the large (12") skillet. Place cutup chicken in
skillet, skin side up. Open both cans of soup. Plop them onto chicken.
Sprinkle in curry powder and garlic powder (optional). Mush soups around
til all flavors blend and chicken pieces are completely covered with the
mixture. Cover skillet. Bake on center rack of oven for 1 One half hours. Last
One half hour of cooking time, remove skillet lid to brown.
