Recipe - Favorite Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

1 cup Shortening
1 cup Brown sugar; packed
1 cup White sugar
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 One half cup Allpurpose flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
3 cup Oats; quick cooking

Mix, using usual method for cookies (cream shortening and sugars, and eggs,
mix, add dry ing.) Place on ungreased sheets, bake at 350 degrees 1012
minutes. Here is my favorite recipe for chewy oatmeal cookies.
