Recipe - Fattigmands Bakkelese

10 Egg yolks; beaten with
10 tablespoon Sugar
One half cup Cream; thick
4 Egg whites; stiffly beaten
One half cup Butter; melted strained
1 teaspoon Cardamom
Citron or orange peel; crus
hed
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Flour; to roll

Roll and cut. Bake in deep fat.

Note: Calls for 1 to 2 t. cardamom and a little crushed citron or orange
peel. Fat at 375 F. ?
