Recipe - Famous Durgin-Park Corn Bread

Three fourths cup Sugar
2 Eggs
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
1 One half cup Milk
2 cup Flour
1 cup Cornmeal
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1 tablespoon Melted Butter
Mix sugar with beaten eggs. Sift flour, salt and cornmeal together. Add
melted butter and milk. Beat up very quickly and bake in a large buttered
pan in a very hot oven (450 degrees).
