Recipe - Famous Chili

Ingredients:

2/3 pound Top sirloin; cubed into 1/4
inch pieces after fat and
tissue has been removed
2/3 pound Top sirloin; coarsely ground
1 lg Onion; chopped
1 Green pepper; chopped
1 Clove garlic; minced
3 tablespoon Parsley
2 tablespoon Butter
2 tablespoon Chili powder
One half teaspoon Black pepper
One half teaspoon Cumin
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cn Tomatoes; (16 ounce) chopped
into 1 inch pieces
4 ds Tabasco sauce

1. Place butter in a 4 quart casserole.

2. Microwave at high (100%) until melted, 30 to 45 seconds.

3. Add cubed sirloin. Pierce meat deeply with a fork Microwave at medium
high (70%) 5 minutes.

4. Pour off 3 tablespoons of liquid.

5. Place ground sirloin in a 2 quart casserole.

6. Microwave at high (100%) 3 minutes, stirring once to break up meat.

7. Drain off liquid. Add to cubed sirloin.

8. Place onion, green pepper, garlic, parsley and butter in a 2 quart
casserole.

9. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at high (100%) 5 minutes, stirring
once.

10. Add to meat mixture.

11. Stir in chili powder, pepper, cumin, and salt Add tomatoes and Tabasco.

12. Cover with plastic wrap.

13. Microwave at high (100%) 5 minutes. Stir. Cover.

14. Microwave at medium high (70%) 10 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
