Recipe - Family Favorite Meatloaf - Crockpot Recipe

2 Beaten eggs
Three fourths cup Milk
2/3 cup Fine; dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoon *grated* onion; use juice
1 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Ground sage
2 pound Ground beef
TOPPING
One fourth cup Ketchup
2 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
One fourth teaspoon Ground nutmeg
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, "sifting" through with very clean
fingers. Don't overwork it or the meat gets tough. Sort of form it, then
carefully place into the crockpot. Cover and cok on low for 5 to 6 hours.
Combine the sauce ingredients and then pour over the meat. Cover and cook
on high for 15 minutes longer. Remove, slice, and serve. I always make
extra topping, heat it up a little in the microwave, and serve on the side.
I tell ya...you could just drink that topping!
