Recipe - Fall Breakfast Muffins

One half pack Spice cake mix
1 cn (16 oz) cut or sliced up pie apples
(not pie filling)
Three fourths cup Brown sugar; packed
1 cup Chopped walnuts or pecans
1 Stick butter or margarine
(not low fat), melted
Lightly grease a 9" pie or cake pan. Pour in apples and sprinkle with brown
sugar. Cover with dry cake mix. Sprinkle with pecans or walnuts. Drizzle
with melted butter or margarine. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool to
warm
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Serve warm or cold.
