Recipe - English Pie

Ingredients:
English Pie recipe makes 1 Servings
2 cup Sugar
One half Stick butter
4 Eggs; separated
1 cup (heaping) nuts
1 cup Raisins; plumped
1/3 teaspoon Allspice
1/3 teaspoon Cloves
1/3 teaspoon Nutmeg
2 Unbaked pie shells
Cream butter and sugar together. Beat egg yolks and mix well with creamed
ingredients. Add other ingredients except the egg whites; mix well. Beat
egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Pour into two unbaked pie
shells, Bake in a moderate oven until set. Serves 12.
