Recipe - Ellas Brunswick Stew

1 pound Chicken; boiled, remove
bones, reserve broth
1 pound Ground beef; see notes
3 md Potatoes; cut up
1 md Onion; cut up
1 small Catsup; bottled
2 cup English peas; small cans
2 cup Green lima beans; small cans
1 cn Corn; creamstyle, large can
16 ounce Tomatoes; canned
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Vinegar
Salt and pepper; to taste
Pan fry ground beef until all red is gone. Cook the potatoes and onions in
chicken broth until tender. add cooked bround beef. Add all other
ingredients and simmer for about 30 minites or slow cook for 3 hours.
Can be frozen.
NOTES : May use 1 pound pork butt steak, boiled and chopped, instead of
ground beef.
