Recipe - Easy Minestrone

3 tablespoon Vegetable base; BTB*
56 ounce Canned tomatoes; peeled and
chopped
2 cup Water
15 ounce Cooked kidney beans
1 Onion; minced
16 ounce Frozen mixed vegetables
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Dried basil
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
Combine the above in a soup pot. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for
about 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 3 quarts, 8 to 12 servings.
Var: Bring to a boil and add 1 cup uncooked small pasta tubes. Bring to a
second boil, cover and simmer on low for about 15 minutes.
