Recipe - Easy Local Ribs

3 pound Meaty countrystyle pork
spareribs, cut into pieces
3 tablespoon Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Salt
1 ds Pepper
Pineapple chunks; for
garnish
Chopped green onions; for
garnish
SAUCE
1 cup Syruppacked pineapple
chunks, drained
One half cup Brown sugar; packed
1/3 cup Ketchup
1/3 cup Vinegar
2 tablespoon Soy sauce
2 teaspoon Grated fresh ginger
2 Cloves garlic; minced
Rub spareribs all over with 3 tablespoons of the soy sauce, salt and
pepper. Place ribs, meat side up, in a foillined baking or roasting pan
and cover with foil or bakingpan lid. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 450
degrees. Drain off fat.
Combine sauce ingredients; pour over ribs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
or until tender, basting occasionally.
Garnish with pineapple chunks and green onions.
