Recipe - Easy Apple Strudel

One half pack Pepperidge FarmŽ Frozen Puff
Pastry Sheets; 1 sheet
1 Egg
1 tablespoon Water
1 cn (21 ounces) apple pie
filling
1. Thaw pastry sheet at room temperature 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 F.
Mix egg and water and set aside.
2. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into 16inch by 12inch
rectangle. With short side facing you, spoon pie filling on bottom half of
pastry to within 1inch of edges. Starting at short side, roll up like a
jelly roll. Place seamside down on baking sheet. Tuck ends under to seal.
Brush with egg mixture. Cut several 2inchlong slits 2inches apart on
top.
3. Bake 35 minutes or until golden. Cool on baking sheet on wire rack 30
minutes. Slice and serve warm.
