Recipe - Easy Apple Cobbler

5 cup Peeled; cut or sliced up apples
Three fourths cup Sugar
2 tablespoon Allpurpose flour
One half teaspoon Ground cinnamon
One fourth teaspoon Salt
One fourth cup Water
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Butter or margarine;
softened
One half cup Allpurpose flour
One half cup Sugar
One half teaspoon Baking powder
One fourth teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Butter or margarine;
softened
1 Egg; slightly beaten
Combine the first 7 ingredients; mix gently. Spoon into lightly greased
9inch square baking pan; dot with 1 tablespoon butter. Set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients; mix well, and spoon over apple mixture in 9
equal portions (batter will spread during baking). Bake at 375 degrees for
3540 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
