One fourth cup Salt
2 tablespoon Red pepper
3 tablespoon Red pepper flakes
1 cup Firmly packed brown sugar or
One half cup molasses
(Rogers is a popular columnist for the Raleigh New & Observer and

Preparation: Mix them up together and let stand 4 hours.
