Recipe - Easter Bread

1 teaspoon Lemon rind; grated
2 cup Sourdough starter
1 teaspoon Allspice
One half teaspoon Salt
One half cup Butter; melted
One half cup Sugar
2 cup Flour; white
1 Egg; beaten
GLAZE
1 Egg; beaten
Sesame seeds
Add salt, sugar, egg, lemon rind, allspice and melted butter to starter mix
well. Add the flour 1 cup at a time till to stiff to mix by hand. turn out
and knead till satiny. divide into 3 equal pieces roll each into a rope
about 12 inches long. pinch the 3 ropes together at one end and braid
loosely. Place on a greased baking sheet and let rise about 1 hour or till
doubled in bulk. put on glaze and sprinkle with seeds bake 400 for 30
minutes or till browned
