Recipe - Drying Soy Jerky

3 pound Lean beef; flank; round
sirloin tip
Three fourths cup Soy sauce
One fourth cup Worchestershire sauce
One fourth cup Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Onion powder
1 Clove garlic; minced
One half teaspoon Cracked pepper
One fourth teaspoon Liquid smoke
Cut beef into strips One half inch thick. Combine marinade ingredients in a
large glass baking dish. Add strips of beef, cover and refrigerate
overnight. Drain beef slices. Dry in an electric dehydrator at 145 until
pliable. Package in home canning jars, foodgrade plastic bags or
sealbyheat food storage bags.
