8 ounce Sliced Monterey Mushrooms
4 ounce Sliced Dry Salami; (minced)
1 Yellow onion; (chopped)
3 Cloves garlic; (minced)
1 bn Italian parsley; (chopped)
2 tablespoon Fresh oregano; (chopped)
One fourth cup Red wine
2 tablespoon Olive oil
2 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Black pepper
One fourth teaspoon Dried crushed red chilies
1 cn (12 Oz.) crushed tomatoes
In a blender place mushrooms, salami and next four ingredients. Blend till
finely chopped. Heat oil in large sauté pan and add mushroom mixture. Sauté
for 5 minutes or until liquids are gone. Deglaze pan with red wine and
reduce out. Add remaining ingredients; cook for 10 minutes. Pour over your
favorite pasta and enjoy. Serves 4
