Recipe - Down-Home Rhubarb

Ingredients:

2 pound Fresh rhubarb (about 7 to 8
Cups)
One half cup Water
1 One half cup Sugar
One half teaspoon Vanilla (optional)

Trim rhubarb and cut into 1inch pieces. Combine with water and sugar in
slowcooking pot. Cover and cook on low 2 to 3 hours. Add vanilla, if
desired. Chill.
