Recipe - Double Pear Crisp

1 One half cup Sifted all purpose flour
One half cup Sugar
One half teaspoon Soda
One fourth teaspoon Salt
One half cup Shortening
One half cup Creamy peanut butter
One fourth cup Light corn syrup
1 tablespoon Milk
More peanut butter for
filling
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening & peanut butter until
mixture resembles coarse meal. Blend in syrup & milk. Shape into a 2inch
roll & chill. Slice 1/8 to 1/4inch thick. Place half the slices on an
ungreased cookie sheet & spread each with One half teaspoon peanut butter. Cover
with remaining slices & seal edges with a fork. Bake at 350 for about 12
minutes. Cool slightly & remove from sheet. Makes 2 dozen.
