Recipe - Doriss Fruit Ice Cream

5 pt Half and half milk
2 One half cup Sugar
Three fourths cup Chopped nuts
Three fourths cup Crushed pineapple
One half teaspoon Salt
3 tablespoon Lemon juice
6 Eggs; beaten
1 One half tablespoon Vanilla
Three fourths cup Bananas; minced
Three fourths cup Cherries; chopped
Three fourths cup Strawberries; chopped
Mix Half and Half, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Cook slowly until mixture coats
spoon. Remove from heat and cool. Combine fruit, nuts, salt and lemon
juice. Let stand 10 minutes. Add to custard and pour in 1gallon ice cream
freezer.
