Recipe - Dole Holiday Treats

1 cup Butter or margarine
1 cup Granulated sugar
One half cup Brown sugar; packed
2 Eggs
1 tablespoon Grated orange peel
2 teaspoon Grated lemon peel
2 One half cup Allpurpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
One fourth teaspoon Ground nutmeg
1 pack (12oz) Dole raisins
1 pack (8oz) Dole chopped dates
Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs, orange and lemon peel.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat into butter mixture
until blended. Stir in raisins and dates. Drop by heaping tablespoon onto
lightly greased cookie sheets. Spread slightly with back of spoon or fork.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1013 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes about 4
dozen.
