8 Pork chops
One half teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Sage
4 Tart apples; cored & cut in
rings
One fourth cup Brown sugar
2 tablespoon Flour
1 cup Hot water
1 tablespoon Vinegar
One half cup Raisins

from: Thelma Quinton

Brown chops in hot fat; sprinkle with salt and sage. Place in baking dish;
top with apple rings; sprinkle with sugar. Add flour to fat in skillet;
blend. Add water and vinegar; cook till thick. Add raisins; pour over
chops. Cover baking dish. Bake in
350 degree oven 1 hour.

Notes: If I don't have any sage on hand, I substitute poultry seasoning. If
using fewer pork chops, cut down on amount of salt, sage, apples, and
sugar. Use regular amounts for sauce.
