Recipe - Diabetic Brownies

One half teaspoon Baking Powder
One half teaspoon Salt
3 ounce Unsweetened Chocolate;
melted
One half cup Shortening; soft
2 Eggs; beaten
2 tablespoon Granulated Sugar Replacement
1 One half cup Flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Combine all ingredients and beat vigorously until well blended. Spread
mixture into greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cut into 2 inch squares.
Microwave: Cook on Medium for 8 to 10 minutes, or until puffed and dry on
top. Cut into 2 inch squares.
Exchange 1 brownie: 1 One half bread, 1 One half fat Calories 1 brownie: 136
