Recipe - Deep-Fried Shrimp Wsherry Sauce

1 pound Deepfried shrimp
1 Onion
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
2 tablespoon Sherry
2 teaspoon Soy sauce
One half cup Stock
2 tablespoon Oil
1. Deepfry shrimp as in "Basic Deepfried Shrimp" and keep warm. Mince
onion.
2. Blend together cornstarch, sherry, soy sauce and stock.
3. Heat remaining oil. Add minced onion and stirfry until translucent (1
to 2 minutes).
4. Add cornstarchsherry mixture and cook, stirring, until sauce thickens.
Pour over shrimp and serve.
