Recipe - Decorated Cookies

2 2/3 cup Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Butter or margarine
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3 One half cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
One half teaspoon Baking soda
One half teaspoon Cinnamon

GLAZE
1 One half cup Powdered sugar
1 Egg white; slightly beaten
1 tablespoon Butter; melted
1/8 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Vanilla
Food coloring & sprinkles

Cream sugar, salt & butter. Add eggs & vanilla & continue mixing until
fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, soda & cinnamon. Mix well & chill. Roll
dough out on lightly floured surface to 1/8inch thick. Cut into shapes
with cookie cutter & bake at 350 for 810 minutes. Cool & ice. Top with
decorative sprinkles, if desired. (Great for Christmas, Valentine or
Halloween!) Glaze: Blend sugar with egg white & add butter, salt & vanilla.
Beat until smooth. Add a few drops of food coloring of your choice.
